Architectural Solutions Combined with Natural Light

Skylight systems are aesthetic and functional glass roof solutions that allow maximum use of natural daylight in buildings. Compatible with both modern and classical architecture, these systems offer comfort, energy efficiency, and visual elegance together.

The prepared glass panels are placed onto the aluminum structure using glass support blocks. The glass joints are sealed with silicone and butyl tape, followed by the installation of cover profiles. Slim cover profiles are used in horizontal joints to ensure uninterrupted water drainage. EPDM gaskets are used to prevent direct contact between aluminum profiles and glass. In skylight applications, outward-opening sashes can be integrated. These can be operated manually or with motorized opening systems. They can also be equipped with smoke, rain, and wind sensors and integrated into building automation systems.

What is a Skylight?

A skylight (daylight window) consists of fixed or operable glass panels typically integrated into the roof. Reinforced with aluminum support systems, these structures allow natural light into interior spaces while providing strong protection against rain, snow, and UV radiation.

Advantages

  • Natural Daylight Utilization
Skylight systems provide natural light throughout the day, reducing the need for artificial lighting and significantly lowering energy consumption.
  • Aesthetic and Transparent Design
The elegance of glass combined with modern design adds brightness and sophistication to spaces, from shopping malls to residential villas.
  • Thermal and Acoustic Insulation
Insulated glass combinations ensure both temperature control and sound insulation.
  • Durability and Safety
The use of tempered and laminated glass provides high resistance to external impacts and environmental conditions.
  • Sustainability
Supports eco-friendly building design through efficient use of natural resources.
